Hope Midwives is a practice that does things a little differently. This collective gives you your choice of midwife so you can find the one that’s right for you. While you can meet with them in professional healthcare settings, they each offer individual clinics at their homes so you can have a cozy space for your care. Not only are you going to have tons of options for your healthcare, but you will also be able to plan your birth anywhere you’d like. They deliver at Lucina Birth Centre, Rinita Birth Centre, several area hospitals, and within homes. They even let you choose hotels and AirBnBs! 

Services

At Hope Midwives, informed choice is at the heart of all they do. With this philosophy, they are going to provide you with a comprehensive education so you can make decisions throughout your pregnancy and delivery. During each appointment, they will take the time to get to know you so they can tailor their care to your unique situation. They will also work with you to create your birth plan so you can feel prepared once it’s time for labor. They provide you with all necessary services, including screenings, testing, and other procedures. Once it’s time for your labor, your midwife will be right by your side, guiding you while acting as your advocate. You will also have a second midwife on-site, so you always have complete care. Throughout the postpartum stage, you will continue to have visits to ensure you’re on the road to recovery!

One thing I really love about Hope Midwives is their community approach to care. While you can choose to have individual appointments, they also offer group care. You will still have some private one-on-one visits, but you will also have several appointments alongside other moms who have a similar due date. This lets you learn from each other, have honest conversations, and create friendships that will serve as your village after your baby arrives!
