My full-service experience means I create a fully custom session for you. I offer a free consultation to talk about your goals and ideas and I provide you with my style guide to help you pick what to wear. I offer all the props, smash cake and outfits for baby. I take care of every detail so that you can enjoy your time at the studio while we celebrate your baby's birthday.

The $300+GST deposit is due at the time of booking to save your spot. After the session we will meet up again to review your images and that's when you decide how many you want, and which product you want them displayed in. You don't have to commit to a specific number before hand.

THE PROCESS
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
When you inquire, I will email you to talk about your vision and goals for your photo session. Here I will walk you through my product guide and my average client investment.
Once you are ready to book, I will send you your booking proposal with all the details of your session, your contract and the secure link to pay your session fee. All images and products are purchased after your session during your ordering appointment.

After booking, we finalize all the details for your cake smash theme. If you choose a custom theme, I will show you ideas for the cake as well as backdrop designs that match your vision. You will receive my cake smash prep guide to know what to expect and how to prepare for the session to ensure a smooth and positive experience. My studio is fully equipped with baby toys and snacks in case they need a distraction during the shoot.

The big day is here! We will first allow some time for your baby to get comfortable and adapt to the studio space. Then we'll start with the family portion of the session (if applicable.) I then take some photos with the theme before the cake, then smashing the cake and finally with the bubblebath. Once the shoot is done, we will give your baby a proper bath to remove any remains of cake off them.

After our session, we schedule your ordering appointment for you to review and pick your final deliverables. I will present your images in a beautiful slide show and you have full control over how many images you want, and how you want them displayed in your home.
I offer a variety of albums, canvas, acrylic prints, and table top art. Every product is customizable to match your unique style. I also offer payment plans for those who prefer a more flexible option.

The best time to book your cake smash session is 1-2 months before your desired session date. This is because I need enough time to gather all the props and backdrops needed if you pick a custom theme. The session date can be between 11-13 months of age, it depends on wether you rather have the images ready by their birthday or to do the shoot closer to their birthday.
Booking early ensures availability. If possible, please don't wait to book because I rarely have last minute availability and I wouldn't want to say no to photographing your baby.

No problem! If your baby has any dietary restrictions please let me know ahead of time so that I can inform my baker. Additional fees may apply. My baker has done, eggless cake before and can also do dairy free if needed.

Its completely normal for babies to not touch the cake much. At the end of the day, this is a brand new experience for them in a brand new environment so many times they prefer to play it safe by not interacting with the cake that much. Do not worry, I have many tricks to still get them to try the cake and enjoy their session. Regardless of how much they actually eat, my guarantee is that you will get a full gallery with images of your baby having a good time.

I offer payment plans when you book your session ahead of time. We can break your payments in equal amounts from the moment you book to your session date to help make it more affordable. Just let me know you are interested in a payment plan during our free consultation and we will come up with the ideal schedule for you. I'm here to help!

All sessions take place in my fully equipped studio located in Cameron Heights in the south west area of Edmonton. The full address will be provided after booking has been completed. Please know I don't offer cake smash sessions outdoors or anywhere outside the studio.
